Our Excelitas site in Göttingen is the centre of excellence for the development and production of photonics solutions for the semiconductor equipment market. For this highly demanding market, the Göttingen site supplies highly complex opto-mechanical modules, subsystems and components for applications in lithography, wafer inspection, chip bonding and packaging.

In addition, this site manufactures and supplies a broad range of optical and mechanical components, including complete optical systems, to support scientific research and development as well as industrial production.

Your Responsibilities

• Assembly and precise alignment of optomechatronic systems under cleanroom conditions

• Quality inspection of the manufactured systems

• Operation of software-supported testing and measuring equipment

• Evaluation and thorough documentation of test results

Your Profile

• Completed vocational training in mechatronics, precision optics, precision mechanics, or a comparable technical field, ideally supplemented by an additional qualification

• Strong skills in handling demanding optical and precision-mechanical components, and enjoyment of working in a production environment

• Knowledge in technical optics and optical measurement technology

• High resilience, quick ability to familiarize yourself with new topics, and a careful, focused working style

• Good MS Office skills as well as strong communication and teamwork abilities
